Google Bard: What’s New in July 2023

Google Bard on a phone

Google Bard is a powerful tool that helps you write better and faster. Whether you need to craft an email, a blog post, a resume, or a creative story, Google Bard can assist you with intelligent suggestions, grammar corrections, and style improvements. In this update, Google has added some new features that make Google Bard even more useful and fun.

Generate Content with Voice and Tone

One of the most requested features from Bard’s users is the ability to generate content with a specific voice and tone. For example, you might want to write a humorous article, a formal report, or a persuasive speech. Now, you can tell Google Bard what kind of voice and tone you want, and it will generate content that matches your preferences.

You can also adjust the voice and tone settings at any time to fine-tune your writing.

Collaborate with Other Writers

Another new feature Google is introducing is the collaboration mode. This allows you to invite other writers to join your project and work together on the same document. You can see each other’s edits in real-time, chat with each other, and get feedback from Google Bard.

Collaboration mode is great for team projects, peer reviews, or co-authoring.

Explore New Genres and Formats

Finally, Google has added more genres and formats to Google Bard’s library. You can now choose from over 100 different types of writing, such as poetry, fiction, news, reviews, essays, and more. You can also select from various formats, such as bullet points, lists, tables, charts, and more. Google Bard will generate content that follows the conventions and best practices of your chosen genre and format.
